Post 10: Travel

I travel a lot to the south of  Chile for going to see my family because most of they live there.
With my mom have tried to travel once time at year to any destination. When I was child we used to travel to the south of Chile trying to discover all the lakes and the most of towns we could. We travel from the Bío Bío Region until Aysén Region. Obviously we didn't know all the places but I think we know the most touristic places and some of the less known towns like Icalma.
I don't really know if I prefer to go abroad or in Chile because exist a lot of amazing places to visit in all the country but I really think we should know our country before going to another. Despite of that I think if you have the possibility to know another place anywhere it is you have to go there. I think living in Chile we have the good luck of have a lot of the most beautiful places that you can find in all the world so I think we should take advantage of that.
This year my family and I are planing go to anywhere but we didn't know the destination yet. I really would like the destination be the Torres del Paine or another austral zone of Chile.

Post 9: Some reflections

I'll talk about my 2018: 
I started this year very happy with a lot of expectations. A year with new things I've never lived before. In January I knew that I was accepted at this University so that's made me feel completed at the moment. After that I could enjoy my vacations very much going to the beach many times and been with my family in Lota.
When I had to come to Santiago, I feel really bad because it meant that I couldn't see all my family for a long time. That was a situation I didn't handle so well. That wasn't the only thing that didn't work so well...
When the classes were disrupted I didn't manage my time very well and I used this time to see my family that I missed so much but I thought classes would start before than they did so I decided to come back to Santiago. Classes didn't start until four weeks so to come back was a very bad decision.
I thing at this time I can't name a lot of achievements. Maybe I've achieved to used to living the university life. That's a achievement, isn't it? I can name also the fact I passed a pair of subject and I'm still trying to pass the rest...

Post 8: A Subject I've enjoyed studying this semester

Subject: 
Chemistry Laboratory Techniques.

On hands-on training we practiced techniques of manipulation of laboratory equipment. From just make mixtures until extract components of orange. On theory classes we learn all about the equipments, security measures and the most common techniques for in a future, know how to do chemistry reactions or another. Additionally , we learn about some chemistry of reactions and analytical chemistry.
I like this subject because I've learned a lot and I've done many techniques never seen for me. But not all is about the classes themes. On the practical classes I laughed a lot with my classmates every time we could. We enjoyed a lot talking about the applications of some techniques or also talking about the less knowledge we had before come to class. Many times we didn't know anything about the class and we just improvised for do a simple procedure.

I think there's one of the most interesting subject because is the only where we can practice all the knowledge get in classes.

Post 7: Themed/Free Post: "Memes"

"When you wake up one minute before the alarm
 sounds and you needed that time for having a good day".

This is my favorite meme because I think I look like Homero every morning when I wake up before the alarm. Despite of having a lot of alarms, sometimes I wake up before all my hundreds alarms and I just feel like: "I needed that minute to have a good day".That meme's got different uses depends on the words upside the Homero's photo. I use to share memes and use it for conversations in every social media but I've never made once. That's just because I'm so lazy because I have thought many times a good meme for a situation but I have never taken time to do any meme.A lot of memes are very funny but sometimes I see some memes that disrespect some people. Every time I see that kind of memes I use to unfollow the owner or the creator, and if the meme is so degrading I just prefer to say to person that his meme can disturb someone.I think memes are so popular because many of they can be used for a lot of situations, I mean just one meme can be used like a joke or also for say something to another one.Finally, if you see a meme that can be offensive to someone, you should demonstrate why and if you think that there's so exaggerated you need to think that all the people is different and you have not the right to make someone feel bad. Use the memes for joking with respect.

Post 6: Felix Hoffmann (An expert on my field)

Felix Hoffman, Pharmacist (Aspirin discoverer).

Felix Hoffmann, is an important farmaceutical because one of the most commonly used drug. He was born Germany, in 1868. In 1891 he graduated magna cum laude frome the University of Munich. Two years later he earned his doctorate.

After studying, Hoffman joined Bayer (current company name) on the recommendation of the eventual Nobel Prize Professor Adolf von Bayer.
When he was working in the very known company,


He made a discovery of historic significance on August 10th, 1987. He succeded in creating acetylsalicilic acid (ASA) in a stable and chemically pure form. A lot of skeptical scientist made investigations about the substance's efficacy and tolerability and all of they indicated the high efficacy fever-lowering, pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory substance.

Maybe the ASA (most known as Aspirin) is one of the most important discoveries in the medicine and the pharmaceutical fields. How many of you have taken Aspirin after a big party or in a strong fever?
Thanks to this Pharmacist you can cure from a hangover until a severy muscle pain.

Post 5: Photograph you like

Calafquén Lake, De Los Ríos Region.

I took this photo in a trip to the south of Chile with my friends. This day we walked a lot bordering the lake looking for any way to get to the next town and all of a sudden we saw this small river. We stopped there and all of us took many photos meanwhile we were resting on the black sand.


There's one of the photos that I like the most because when we were there I felt the quiet of the place. Any car, any airplane or any scream just the wind and the small waves. I'm used to see this photo when I'm stressed and that's what it makes special. Despite of the heavy rain that we had seen the sky looks partly clear in the bottom of the photo and it's very beautiful. In addition to, I think the colours of the photo provide calm to any who see it.

Post 4°: Tv shows and series

How many of you have been many hours lying down seeing tv shows or series?
I've never had a favourite serie because I like many!

I see many kinds of series: realist series, cartoon series and also comedy series but I like the most the realist series. The best series I've ever seen are Breaking Bad and Vikingos. Maybe you think the same, aren´t you? Those series have in common that are about a man who tries to change their life at the same time of try to keep their family alive but for to get it, they have to do horrible things.

The problem to see good series is that you could be all day seeing chapters after chapters and complete all the season and then all the serie, leaving aside all your responsabilities. Last weekend I saw 15 chapter of "La casa de papel" instead of study chemistry... I think I would end it this weekend!

Do you have any favourite serie? Don't tell me "Game of Thrones" because if I'd see it maybe I'll fail all the courses XD.

Post n° 3: My Favourite Piece of Technology

My favourite piece of technology is my bed, despite of there's not a piece of techonolgy as a phone or a computer, for all of us is maybe the most important  invention that the humanity has made. I was born in a bed and I've ever had one. Every night I can use it, to rest, to study there and for many other things... Like to watch tv lying down.

 

My bed is also use it for my dog, so I have to share it with her and it's the best despite of to wake up many times in the night.

Where does sleep your pet without a bed?
Where can you lying down after a good party?
Where do you rest after a reprobate test?
What would the life without a bed?

Post n° 2: Why did I choose Chemistry and Pharmacy?

When I was child, I'd decided to work as a bus driver. After this I decided to be an Astronomy. Finally I've been decided to estudy Medicine but in the last year of my secondary school, I knew Chemistry and Pharmacy and in this moment I knew that it was the carrer that I wanted to study.

I thought that the only way to help to the health of people was treat their directly. When I realized I could help they doing another job, like making medicine or support doctors to help people, I Took the desition; study Chemistry and Pharmacy.

Now I'm in the Universidad de Chile and the expierence has been better than I thought, I knew amazing people and the dubious is great. Most of my teachers are so good and it keeps me motivated to study.

When I finish Chemistry and Pharmacy I want not only working in a lab making medicine, but working as a Clinical  Pharmacist, supporting doctors to choose a good decision about the correct medicine for every patient and in this way, help people to cure a pain or an illness.

Post N°1: A little about my story.

I'm Pablo and I'm 18 years old. Here´s my story:

I was born in Santiago on July 26th, 1999. Six months later I moved to Concepción where I lived about eight years. The middle of my elementary school was in a little school of Lota, a small town where I lived with my grandmother while my mom ended her universitary studies.
My 3rd school grade was in Santiago and there I ended my secondary school living with my mom. Now I'm studying Chemistry and Pharmacy right here.

I enjoy a lot to discover a city I dont know, specially if in that place I don´t know anyone or anything, That's what makes it more interesting. Someday I hope to live in another place, maybe in another city or another country, Why not?
Despite of to want to discover cities (or countries) I usually go to Lota (every often) to stay with my family for all the vacations. Every time I can I go to there, so if you don't see me here, you'll know why jeje.
For ending I think one of the best experiences that I've got have been diving and snorkelling because I really love swimming underwater and feel the silence and the calm of the sea.
